Beto Cardenas is the Senior Chief Engineer for Lincoln Property Company in Houston. He is responsible for the training and direct oversight of an engineering staff of fifteen. The staff’s portfolio encompasses over 5 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties.
Beto began his career in commercial real estate as an apprentice engineer. He quickly rose through the ranks as a result of his strong work ethic, his fostering of tenant relationships, and his problem-solving skills. During his 29 years in the industry, he has garnered experience with multiple property types, from two-story office buildings to large multi-building campuses, retail centers, and industrial sites. In his current role with Lincoln, Beto instills a positive work ethic and can-do approach to the engineers on his team, promoting a work environment in which customer service is a priority and team members are recognized for their achievements.
Besides having a Universal CFC Certification, Beto also holds his 1st Grade Stationary Engineer and Maintenance Electrician Licenses. He is a member of the City of Houston Boiler Code Review and Licensing Board, as well as BOMA. Beto brings to LPC extensive construction experience and knowledge within all aspects of tenant improvements and capital projects.
